This policy explains how Content OS, operated by Content OS, uses cookies on our website and platform.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners.
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR set out rules on how we can use cookies. Essential cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have requested do not require consent. All other cookies require your prior, informed consent.
Content OS uses only essential cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that send data to third parties.
| Cookie name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Can you opt out? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-[project]-auth-token | Essential | Supabase authentication session. Keeps you logged in across page loads. | Session (refreshed automatically while active) | No (required) |
| sb-[project]-auth-token-code-verifier | Essential | PKCE code verifier for secure OAuth login flow. | Short-lived (deleted after login completes) | No (required) |
| content-os-cookie-consent | Functional | Stores your cookie consent preference so we don't ask every time. | 12 months | No (required) |
Essential cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR Regulation 6(4) because they are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have explicitly requested (logging in and using the platform).
We do not load any third-party analytics scripts (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Meta Pixel) or advertising scripts on our website or platform. No third-party cookies are set by Content OS.
If you connect social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn), those platforms may set their own cookies when you visit their sites directly. We have no control over those cookies. Please refer to those platforms' own cookie policies for more information.
Because we only use essential cookies, there is nothing to opt out of within Content OS itself. However, you can control cookies through your browser settings:
Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform, as the authentication session relies on them.
If we add new cookies in the future (for example, analytics tools), we will update this policy and, where required by PECR, ask for your consent before setting them. We will not set non-essential cookies without your prior agreement.
